Silent Disqualification is a slang term used to describe a judge's decision that one team can no longer win, even though no Open Disqualification has been declared. Grounds for silent disqualification can range from Judge Bias to minor Infractions.

Usually, on debate.org a disqualification can be analogous to a judge deciding that a debater broke an unspoken rule, such as plagiarism or multiple forfeits.
